Iggy's Back to Her Usual Self!

Update! Update! Update! Last week I made an appointment at the vet for Iggy. She was drinking way too much water, losing some weight and still not eating. Literally four hours after I made the appointment, she ate everything off of her plate! Did she hear me?! I was so happy. I didn't cancel the appointment just yet but gave it another day and sure enough she has been back to eating for the last 4 days. She has completely calmed down and is her sweet and calm usual self! She had a normal poop today, too! Hooray!!

Aside from this absolutely fantastic news- I have more news! I found out last week that I am going to be a mother- of a human baby (not another iguana baby!) It's still quite early on but I am a healthy person so I have a good feeling about the progression. I start my new job tomorrow (full benefits!) and am excited for this new start of my life.

Unfortunately, now that baby is on the way, I have to be very careful with Iggy. I am constantly washing my hands and being cautious of her poop. I plan on keeping Iggy through everything despite my family suggesting I give her up. She's my first baby! That's all for now! (I still don't have the internet at my grandmother's but hopefully within the next few weeks I will be moved out and back with Brian! Which means that Iggy may need to go through another transition period, ugh!)
