Luckily for us Iggy has been successfully pooping in her own personal tub. We lift the tub out, dump it into the toilet and flush it away. Voila! Sometimes she does poop right in the big tub, though. She used to do this all the time during her first two years of life back at my parent's house, in chicago and at my mom-mom's house. All washed right down the drain. Iguana poop, with a few swishes, easily disintegrates so I never had a problem with clogging at all.
Now that we all live at my boyfriend's mother house, which hasn't been kept clean or orderly ever, we are having some issues with the tub plumbing. Let me rephrase that, the tub plumbing has ALWAYS had issues, but now the issues are being BLAMED on Iggy's poop! How rude!
I don't think the tub drain pipe has been cleaned in years and since I've been coming here (3 years ago), the shower- about every two days- clogs itself up. Plunging ensues and nastyness is brought up, it ain't pretty people! My boyfriend's mother has been plunging up some nasty bits, undoubtedly SOME are coming from Iggy but gross stuff always has come up. It's beginning to really aggravate me!
